These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of products sold by Altitude Puzzle Appius, doing business as Altitude Puzzle ("we," "us," "our"). By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Product Description

Our puzzles are decorative and recreational items intended for adult use and display. They are not toys, are not designed for children, and are not intended for repeated handling by young children or pets.

2. Intended Use and Age Restriction

Our products are designed and marketed for use by adults. They are not suitable for children under 14 years of age. If purchasing as a gift or for household use where children or pets may have access to the product, the purchaser is responsible for appropriate supervision and storage.

3. Choking Hazard / Small Parts Warning

WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD. This product contains small parts. Not intended for children under 14 years. Keep away from young children and pets at all times.

Puzzle pieces are small and could present a choking or ingestion hazard if mishandled, chewed, or swallowed. It is the purchaser's sole responsibility to store, use, and supervise the product in a manner that prevents access by children, pets, or any individual for whom the product would not be safe.

4. Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

You purchase and use our products entirely at your own risk.
Altitude Puzzle is not liable for any injury, illness, choking, property damage, or other harm resulting from misuse, improper handling, improper storage, ingestion, or use of the product in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose as a decorative/recreational adult puzzle.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the purchase or use of our products.
Our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the purchase price paid for that product.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection law (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by proven negligence, or statutory rights that cannot be waived in your jurisdiction).

5. Misuse

"Misuse" includes, without limitation: allowing unsupervised access by children or pets, ingestion of any component, use of the product for purposes other than assembly and display, and disregard of any warning provided with the product. We are not responsible for harm arising from misuse.

6. Product Accuracy

Puzzle pieces are produced using a 3D printing process based on publicly available elevation data. Minor variations in color, texture, or finish between units are normal and do not constitute a defect.

7. Returns and Defects

Altitude Puzzle is a small, independent business, and each puzzle is produced to order once you place your purchase. Because of this, all sales are final and we're unable to accept returns or exchanges for reasons such as a change of mind.

That said, we stand behind our work. If your puzzle arrives incomplete, damaged, or with a manufacturing defect, please reach out to us at info@altitudepuzzle.com with your order number and a photo of the issue, and we'll work with you to make it right, whether that's a replacement or a refund.

We want you to be happy with your puzzle, so don't hesitate to contact us if something isn't right.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict of law principles.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our site or purchase of our products after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
